Here at First Baptist Church, we are guided by the Bible in our daily lives and in our church. We look to the Bible to teach us how to love one another, to serve our community and to be transformed into the men and women of faith that God has created us to be. In the Bible we find our true purpose and so we emphasize the need to read it and study its history, context, and principles both personally and as a community of believers. We know that the call of Jesus is a call to a higher life and a great purpose, so we work together to find that purpose through the reading and discussion of the Bible together.
Bible Fellowship Opportunities at FBCH:
Tuesdays, 6:30pm, “Gold Room” Fellowship Room, First Baptist Church – On Tuesday evenings we gather together to read and discuss various Bible books, passages, and special topics. The emphasis of our gathering is to share not just the history, context, and words of the time in which these books were written, but also to share how these words speak into our own lives and contexts today!
Sundays, 11:15am, “Gold Room” Fellowship Room, First Baptist Church – On Sunday Mornings, after our Worship Gathering we meet to dive deep into the teaching of the Bible! The class focuses on themes that emerge from the Bible passages being preached on and how they work to build up the fundamentals of our faith!
